Post Everything old is new again
Hey guy's I hope everyone has a great Christmas and gets all the needed rc stuff. I just want to give everyone alittle peek at the upcoming updates for 2010 XRC. First we are moving ahead with getting electric brought in by PPL. No more generators!(cross fingers). Second we are applying for several permits from the township to install electric to the sheds, drivers stand, and at least six 4/4 posts with outdoor gang plugs for the pit areas. Third we are moving both sheds to better locations to open up the pit area. Forth, Jay found a huge marine bridge signal light to install for the starts of mains and heats. I think it is has 12 inch red, yellow, and green lenes with a billion candle watt bulbs. There should be no problem when to go!! Fifth we found all the clean clay locally that we need, so that means new layout, new tubing and night racing !! Sixth we a getting a large air compressor for everyone to use during race days. More updates soon !!

Andy, I agree 100%. I am sure I won't have to twist Darren and Jays arm to hard. If we get the electric for the sheds, no more ice and coolers!! We will bring the fridge down from the hobby shop to stock all the drinks, we may have to get a second fridge for the beer mister? Also if anyone knows of a certified electrician we will need alot of help to install wiring, please have them contact one of us. We have to remove all the wiring from drivers stand and sheds and redo up to code standards to pass the inspection. Because we are moving both sheds not only do we have to rewire, we need to rewire sound system and transponder loop as well.I guess what I am saying is we will need a ton of help to complete wiring, new track layout etc. for the April opener.

This past Saturday, Darren, Jay, and myself muscled the two sheds roughly into there final locations, with no beer to help. Next is PPL with the electric pole and meter mounted to the shed. There is a million things to complete before the season opener. We will need alot of help with running condoit under ground (ditchwitch), wiring everything, including speakers. Painting drivers stand, and alot of back breaking labor when we strip and redo the track surface for the new layout that Ian designed. Will post with more updates soon!!!!!!
